    How do I get to VIR?
    VIR is located at 1245 Pine Tree Road, Alton, VA 24520. It takes approximately 20 minutes to drive from Danville Regional Airport to VIR. It takes approximately 90 minutes to drive from Raleigh-Durham International Airport. Please contact us if you plan to arrive via helicopter.
    Where should I meet you at VIR?
    Our events are hosted in the South Paddock unless otherwise stated. Once you check-in at the front security gate, drive straight and make a left at the end of the road. Follow the signs to ‘South Paddock’.
    Can I bring a guest?
    Yes, you are welcome to bring a guest with you. Information about our guest policy is outlined in our Terms and Conditions in the registration section. Guest policy varies based on the type of event. All guests must be included in the driver’s event registration to attend.
    Can I bring by own car to the track?
    Yes, in addition to our rental options, we encourage guests to bring their own cars to the track. To register your car for a track event, select “Guest Vehicle” when completing your reservation. Please note, convertibles are not permitted in accordance with VIR’s safety regulations.
    What is the inclement weather policy?
    Ingram Experience events are rain or shine, please prepare accordingly. In the event the track is closed due to extreme weather and/or unsafe conditions, we will work with guests to reschedule to the next available Ingram Experience track day. We do not issue refunds for inclement weather.
    What is the rescheduling policy?
    We understand your time is valuable and your schedule may shift. In the event you need to reschedule, please give our team written notice as soon as possible. Rescheduling fees are as follows:
    30+ days before event: No fee to reschedule your reservation to an available date.
    Within 29 days of event:
    - Guest Car Reservation: $250 rescheduling fee for guest car reservation.
    - Rental Reservation: There is no rescheduling option for our 997/GT4 CS rentals; however, all renters unable to attend their scheduled reservation will be credited a guest car reservation free of charge for a future event. A guest car reservation credited to a driver is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. More information about our rescheduling policy can be found in our Terms & Conditions.
    What is the cancellation policy?
    In the event you need to cancel, please give our team written notice as soon as possible.
    Cancellation policy is as follows:
    60+ days before event: 100% refund will be issued.
    31-59 days before event:
    50% refund issued. Within 30 days of event: No refund will be issued. No-Call/No-Show drivers are considered same day cancellations and will not be issued a refund.
    Do you provide food/drinks?
    Yes, catering for driver lunches is included in the reservation fee. We are happy to provide additional lunches for your guests for $10/person, please indicate additional lunch request(s) on your reservation form. We provide water, soda, and sports drinks for all guests throughout the day free of charge.
    What is a typical track day schedule?
    The track is hot from 8:30am to 5:25pm with a break for lunch from 12:30-1:30pm.
    What are my lodging options?
    It depends on what you are looking for! VIR has beautiful, newly renovated suites at the North Paddock Pit Lane and The Lodge. There are also two-story Villas available for rent overlooking the uphill Esses. You can book accommodations at VIR here. We also have a few favorite luxury accommodations in the Raleigh/Durham area. Give us a call and we’ll be happy to advise.
    Do you host group events?
    Yes, we host group retreats and corporate events in partnership with Racing For Heroes Tactical Mobility. Please fill out our Corporate Event Inquiry Form and we’ll reach out to you to discuss.
    Are race teams allowed at the track days?
    All race team inquiries and registration are processed separately, please contact [email protected] for more information.
